A very Happy New Year to everyone!

2012 looks set to be an exciting year for us. We are celebrating the centenary of Jean Françaix in a performance of his sextet L’Heure du Berger with pianist Iain Farrington, at the Ilkley Concert Club in March, and we will be performing his Quintet no. 1 in a recital at the St Boniface Concert Society, Crediton in July. We are also returning to Mussenden Temple, in Northern Ireland, for two concerts in June.
In August we will be returning to the Dartington International Summer School to run the Wind Chamber Music course in Week 5. Booking is now open. This year we are inviting pre-formed chamber groups as well as individual instrumentalists, so if you already play in a wind ensemble and would like to spend a week rehearsing intensively together with coaching every day, please do apply, or contact us: for more information. |
